I bought the yellow pastel pigment because I have a neon glow party for my stepdaughter at a trampoline place this weekend. I bought it to match a neon yellow cami I'll be wearing that in my option is a little pastel. I'm a makeup artist so naturally all the young girls love when I show up with colorful looks for special occasions. Order fulfillment and shipping took too long for my liking but that was clearly communicated on the site so you can't be too angry. As far as the product is concerned it's nice, but left something to be desired. I've worked with tons of pigments over my 14 year career in makeup and the best ones tend to be buttery and melt into the skin, a favorite of mine being MAC (blue-brown). This neon yellow felt a little dry and almost chalky to me. I used a mixing medium with it to create a liner and I definitely prefer this method of application as opposed to patting it on dry. The color did stain the back of my hand for a swatch test, that doesn't bother me I just wanted to include that for people that might be concerned about staining. This was my first purchase with the company as this year I've made the commitment to try more indie brands. That being said I'll be purchasing the full neon and pastel neon kits in the near future to further experiment with. Unrelated sidenote: as a makeup artist I cannot tell you how frustrating it is to see people dump pigment onto their hands and spread it all around for a patch test...very wasteful.
